Whey hydrolysate or isolate – that’s the question some athletes ask themselves. But where is the difference at all?
Whey protein hydrolysate is produced during the enzymatic splitting of Whey concentrate (Whey isolate). It’s pre-digested, so to speak. The advantage of this is that the body needs less energy for digestion. Thus, the proteins can be absorbed even easier and faster and can also be supplied during physical stress, e.g. in competition.
Whey hydrolysate is not only available as a powder but also as a practical drinking ampoule.
